    ★★★

Satire without challenging the way we think and feel is just cheap parody without actual criticism. And that's what JoJo Rabbit is... Simply put, this type of humor/movie isn't for everyone.

I can't believe I had the AUDACITY to give this only 4.5 stars the first time. Real clown girl shit 🤡

This is the perfect example of a good terrible movie. I laughed throughout, but some of these scenes were just so frickin ridiculous, and I can't believe they made it past pen & paper.

    ★★★½

Despite its standard script, Judy has a lot going for it. One of those is Renee Zellweger. The Oscar campaign begins NOW. What she did with this role amazed me to no end. My goodness.

There's a scene in the film, where Judy finally indulges in a piece of cake, and Renee's acting in that scene.... Omg... all I have to say is the waterworks came and stayed until the very end.

Despite everyone's disappointment in its generic script, Renee deserves that Oscar... Without a doubt.

The claims surrounding this film are enough to send me to a frenzy and madhouse, but let's leave that to Joker.

Gosh... where do I even begin? Joaquin Phoenix as the leading man is top-notch acting and casting. What he was able to do with this script, iconic character and role on screen is sheer brilliance. Denying this bc you're offended by this movie won't change that.

Speaking of which, I've read so many claims that this movie revels in…

    ★★★

I sat on this for a day hoping I would change my mind, but the truth is it's still a flat attempt at philosophical grandeur for me.

Brad Pitt really gave a great performance for such a nuanced Role, but I still don't think it's even near the best of the year.

I wanted to adore this. I so wish I could come out of this saying it's a masterpiece and that it touched me in ways far beyond my…

    Hustlers

    ★★★½

A little overhyped, but still a worthy film to check out by many. A lot of praise went to JLo, but Constance really shined above all in every scene.

My favorite part about the film is the female friendships. It's hard not to be attached to these characters and their journeys. But I'd be lying if I didn't say the way the story wrapped up was a bit underwhelming. It could be the format (mostly flashbacks vs present). Also... I would've really loved to know what the girls were up to today. The end was too rushed in my honest opinion.

Quite possibly the most predictable movie of all time 😭

  • It Chapter Two

    It Chapter Two

    ★★★

I really had to sit on this one bc I didn't really care about the adult versions of these kids lmao.

It: Chapter 2 certainly loses what made Ch. 1 so fricken special, and that's the growing friendships among the losers when the one thing controlling their lives was fear.

Chapter 2 just felt like something was missing and certain things were rushed even though it had plenty of time to not be... Weird.

With all of that being said,…
