Solid Spanish satire released in 1953, it’s scary how well aged we can find it, since everything depicted here happens today.

It’s about a Spanish poor village which gets ready to receive the visit of the wealthy Americans.

I feel like sometimes to realize some kind of situations we are going through, we really need humor, and when it comes to society problems we need satire movies.

There’s always something good to extract from almost everything, a thing we can do…

    “Oír, ver y callar.”

Here we have a Spanish movie directed by Mario Camus, which was released in 1985, based on a novel of the same name written by Miguel Delibes.

It’s about a poor family which lives in a village working for the upper classes

“Se hace lo que se puede.”

Spanish thriller directed by Daniel Monzónstarring Luis Tosar, who won a Goya for best actor because of his impressive performance here as Malamadre.

It’s about a prison riot in Zamora and how a new officer of the prison gets involved there.

It has a really good premise, interesting characters, a good script and such a good pacing. It manages to entertain the viewer, it also connects with the audience, it’s able to make you feel…

Today I chose to watch this Spanish thriller directed by Alberto Rodríguez.

It’s about two murders which ones take place in a Spanish village of Andalucía, set in 1980, a transition time between Franco’s dictatorship and democracy. A couple of detectives look forward what happened there.

It’s a police procedural thriller, it’s a raw movie which feels closer to reality than a Hollywood one.

This movie has an average premise, but it’s really good executed. The plot is wonderful, it has…
