“Let’s agree just to disagree, alright?”
So today I watched yet another movie directed by Taika Waititi.
It’s such a deep depiction of the consequences of indoctrination and war.
Here we have a German society that tries to build little indoctrinated monsters by telling them lies and fake information from other countries, in order to let them think that they are the ones that run the world. At the same time we see how other people struggle and try to fight versus this scourge, trying to achieve freedom and a normal life for themselves and for their families.
It’s a clear image of indirect oppression of citizens getting a population that can’t think for themselves. Sadly these things happen in real life, we are to a greater or lesser extent, always conditioned by an ideology.
It’s a well made movie, it’s sad, deep and entertaining. It transmits what it tries to and it also manages to touch the heart of the viewer.
It’s such a good movie to raise awareness among stubborn radicals.
Highly recommended movie if you haven’t watched it just yet.
