    As Vertigo recently topped Sight & Sound's polls and remains an icon of American cinema, I suspect my review will sound off-base and unconvincing (and is, I'm sure, entirely uninformed). Oh well.     Disney's first feature-length animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, is certainly important and technically impressive.
