King Kong still stands up as a very well-made classic. So many people will pigeon-hole any old, crudely-made film as a "classic", but it's such a case where a really old film truly is "classic". King Kong has left a legacy of great fantastic story telling as well as cinematography. I can see the inspiration and advancement of all the others which followed. It will always be the best "King Kong" and can't forget about the stunning Fay Wray either. Overall, King Kong is one of the most influential Sci-Fi/Fantasy films ever made.
