Caleb Paasche’s review published on Letterboxd:
Call Me by Your Name is, for the most part, a very solid film highlighted by a magnificent lead performance by Timothee Chalamet, a strong script, and some great moments of direction. Rating drops for me because I felt like the relationship between Elio and Oliver wasn't developed well enough in the first half of the film and, frankly, that it wasn't always believable, but nonetheless a very good film. Watching Chalamet as the credits role is a true treat that is possibly the highlight of a masterful performance. Also, shoutout to Michael Stuhlbarg for giving an excellent supporting performance that hasn't gotten the attention it deserves.
