Caleb Villa’s review published on Letterboxd:
This was my introduction to Terrence Malick; I wanted to view a few of his films in preparation for A Hidden Life. Thanks to Days of Heaven, I am beyond excited to explore more of his filmography. Not only was this film visually astounding, but its compelling narrative effortlessly conveys complex themes and characters. The way that the camera captures this film's unique location and stunning landscapes is truly remarkable and exemplary of immersion in film. Somehow, this film even managed to engross my dad, who has a miniscule attention span and generally dislikes subtle filmmaking. I will be thinking about Days of Heaven for a long, long time.
