This was v good and i loved how it basically said "fuck you" to genre and tonal consistency. I was expecting a very somber slow burn mystery thriller, and what I got was something very different and kind of insane.
And I know that following up a 2 and a half hour horror movie with a different 2 and a half hour horror movie (now with subtitles) was a mistake but oof I really don't think this needed to be as long as it was. I was never exactly bored with this but I definitely felt the runtime, and I feel like this story could have been distilled into something far more focused and powerful.
