    It’s pretty rare that I’d watch a film twice in a row and actually enjoy it more the second time. I’ve watched movies that right after they ended I wanted to experience it all over again. With There Will Be Blood I wanted to rewatch it to understand it better as it’s definitely the movie that requires and deserves the most analysis and interpretation i’ve seen.

    Wayyyyy too tired to fully enjoy it in all its glory. It’s rare that even during watching a film I will literally make plans to rewatch it the next day which i’m planning to do tomorrow morning lol.

    A modern Shakespearean American classic in the same sport as Breaking Bad and The Godfather.

    I honestly don’t even know what to say.

    This isn’t a film you just sit through and feel complete after watching. This is a film that is to be processed, thought about, analysed, discussed. 

    There is so much going on under the surface, a line of complexity woven throughout at the hands of Daniel Day Lewis performance. I don’t even think saying DDL acted this role well is doing him justice, he became the role. I honestly can’t think of…
