John C Reilly was outstanding in all aspects. His character was what made me love this even more. i definitely enjoyed his whole story arc the most. All of the cast were great though in all honestly; Tom Cruise, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Philip Baker Hall, all just brilliant, all of the casts best performances that i have seen. the overall message of reconciling with the past was clear from the get go, and it perfectly executed it in the end.
Probably the most powerful film I’ve seen, ever. Everything about this is perfect, humour, the themes are handled so well, the cinematography is great. It’s got that “Spike Lee” charm too that he has with all his best work. The last 5 minute section still leaves me and everyone around me speechless.
