    This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

    1) This movie makes so much sense, it’s painful

    2) Every Christopher Nolan movie is equal parts love>humanity and time shenanigans

    3) “Protagonist” willingly cements himself in a time loop so that he can fall in love with someone he cannot interact with at the expense of his best friend. I definitely need to watch this a second time to fully understand the relationship dynamics (which I would argue are the primary dynamics).

    Aside from the meta-text of this (I suspect it of being semi-autobiographical), I think the main lesson I learned is that affluent white people always fail upwards. Fortunately our characters are aware of this, even explicitly stating "don't call yourself poor, it's offensive to actual poor people", which is refreshing, coming from Baumbach (who loves to show rich people being sad as the consequences of their own actions unfold around them).

    Also, this feels like an accurate portrayal of being 27 (I'm 27)
