Wes’s review published on Letterboxd:
"I never miss. Is this what you want?"
soooo it happened: i got to experience this in a theater for the first time. much like 2001, it was like having my mind wiped and experiencing it all over again. so much was amplified, so many new little things i noticed, so much of the emotion was ever expanding at an alarming rate like its own little universe. and this is, to me, cattet and forzanis most emotional film. betrayal and greed and reminiscing and rebirth through art and violence. and leather.
i was in my own world for an hour and a half without any worries or fears or feelings of dread, thanks to what was made here. it was bittersweet to leave the theater and say goodnight, but not goodbye.
