Ok, I thought this one was way better than scream 5.
Credit where its due - I didn't like the main character Sam, played by melissa barrera, in the last one, but in this one, I actually thought she was brilliant. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is I thought made her so much better, maybe its the script? But she just nailed it. Now that we already know the main cast, aka the 'core four', I found it so much more enjoyable to watch them in general.
As someone who hates public transport, that subway scene was genuinely terrifying. And I'm sorry but when sams boyfriend silently and calmly just stepped in front of her on the train when he thought ghostface was about to get her? Yeah that was hot.
