That moment in My Love, My Life when Lily James looks down at the water and her reflection changes to Meryl Streep and then it pans up and it’s Meryl Streep singing to Amanda Seyfried is one of the most what the fuck moments in film of 2018, up there with the Snap in Infinity War and the endings of Adrift and Sorry To Bother You, and I knew that scene was gonna happen. Like Meryl is on the damn poster, I knew she was gonna show up at some point
