Carlos’s review published on Letterboxd:
So I started the book yesterday and finished it today because I wanted to watch the movie (I have this thing where if a movie I’m interested in is being adapted from a book, I’ll want to read the book first). And I don’t know why I was expecting this to be a one-to-one retelling of the book, cause it’s not. Though it’s actually fairly close (in structure/order of events, more than anything), this is a Charlie Kaufman movie through and through, so I don’t know if there’s much else I can say about it if you’re already familiar with Kaufman’s work. The book is one thing and the film is another, so I definitely recommend reading the book for a different experience with the story.
