A horror anthologies that runs along the lines of Trick r treat or tales of Halloween. While it’s definitely a more B movie level, it was still pretty enjoyable!

  • The Babysitter: Killer Queen

    The Babysitter: Killer Queen

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Wasn’t sure how to feel about the sequel coming out in the first place, but went into it with an open mind because I loved the first one. Unfortunately was not a fan. The comedy was off and they recycled basically the same plot. Glad to see Samar return but didn’t like the redemption story they gave her.

  • The Last House on the Left

The Last House on the Left

This is a film I put off watching for so long do to the graphic nature of it being so hyped, and while I wont deny that it is, it wasn't AS bad as I expected. I do with that the revenge part of the film had been a bit longer. If I am going to sit through so much rape and horribleness, I should have at least gotten a more satisfying amount of payback.

  • The Bride of Frankenstein

    The Bride of Frankenstein

Was a little disappointed in this one. All the hype around the bride and she’s barely in it. I did however like the contrast between the bride for the monster and Dr Frankenstein’s bride.

  • The Golem: How He Came into the World

The Golem: How He Came into the World

Spent the first 40 minutes wondering why this film was featured on a must watch horror list, but then some crazy stuff happened. I ended up enjoying the film for what it is. Little hard to get past the portrayal of Jewish people

  • The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari

    The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari

I don’t generally watch a lot of silent films, so it could at times be harder to follow. But I did end up enjoying this one! I thought I knew who the killer was and where it was going, until that last second twist. Definitely think it’s worth the watch.

  • Megan Is Missing

    Megan Is Missing

Well if this movie aimed to creepy me outing definitely did it’s job. I actually watched this movie years ago, but I can still remember it now(not in a good way). Movie has pretty slow  pace throughout most of it, but damn does it hit you at the end with some graphic content.

  • Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile

Went into this film not expecting a lot out of it, and good thing I did. Zac Enron and Lily Collins give great performances, but I didn’t learn anything new. I feel Netflix made a mistake in releasing the docuseries prior to this film, if the movie had been released first then I would have been intrigued to learn more.  The film also felt a bit like a love story, which the ending does completely turn around and you understand why everything was shown the way it was.

If you haven’t seen the docuseries yet, I’d suggest watching this first and you may enjoy it.

  • Moonwalkers

It is most definitely a weird one but I was super excited to have Robert Sheehan and Rupert Grint back together (see Cherry Bomb) definitely worth the watch.
