my star wars fever hasn’t been this huge since I was a child. upon rewatching this film for maybe the 2nd or 3rd time since I saw it in theatres. i have realized that I was wrong about certain aspects of the film, and I think watching the last jedi helped make more sense of it. I appreciated the humor more, the action, and etc. this film was a perfect way to bring back star wars after its predecessors (excluding the prequels) after such a long hiatus. it was a mixture of nostalgia with a new story which works surprisingly well. this film is just so much fun
