I don't understand what everyone's complaining so much about. Suburbicon is decently entertaining and is made with a certain flare that hearkens back to both 50s B-Movies and Hitchcock. Not that it's nearly that good, but it's in that style. Another thing that was great was the production design, I loved all of the period set pieces. I will say a large amount of the film feels fairly uninspired and a little plain occasionally. Also, I was hoping that the subplot with the African-American family being harassed would mean something, but its kind of just thrown in there.
