Formally pretty, narrative tight. Enjoyed the first portion of the film but felt in dragged on. Ending, as per usual with Yorgos, left a bad taste in my mouth. It was wonderfully fun and I liked it but not necessarily my fav in terms of narrative style.
I'm a really big fan of the growing trend within horror films of limiting the senses and then giving essentially a "super power" to those with disabilities. Its been done in films like Hush and the Quiet Place and I think this is an excellent addition to that group.
However, it would have been nice if there had been more of a linear narrative and/or further character depth. Sandra Bullock kills as per usual, but I would have liked to…
