“Movies are dreams that you don’t forget”
The Fabelman’s is Steven Spielberg’s passion project, and the passion is on display in every shot. When you go to film like this you expect a sort of a biopic about Spielberg’s childhood and journey into filmmaking and you do get that but you also get so much more. The film is so intimate and it feels like a family drama rather than a 2:30 hour long montage filled music video like most modern day biopics. I loved this film so much and it’s one of my favorites of the year.
