Portrait of a Lady on Fire

I think I died watching this movie. But it was somehow a pleasant death. Just like a dream that won’t end.

I fucking hate it. I knew I would maybe hate it, but people kept being like give it a shot. You talk about mental illness, so you would like this. Oh boy.
This is not mental illness. This is not what I need for my mental illness portrayal. I need to see someone have trouble getting out f bed. Someone not remembering the last time you showered. Someone not being able to leave their house because of anxiety.
    I do…

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

I really loved this. It took this movie to realize that Marielle Heller is a remarkable filmmaker. The quirkiness and oddness and quietness and assuredness was just lovely.

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

I would rate this movie 5 stars for the sheer fact that it acknowledged fighting with a hair tye would be easier for most women. Been waiting my whole damn life to have that reflected.

Stephen Sondheim Is having quite a year in...2019? I mean I’m not mad about it.

Anyways this broke my heart  and I enjoyed the experience.

  • Aladdin

I mean Jasmine is pretty great

    The Santa Clause

    It's fine. It's fine.

My boyfriend was like why are you watching this and I didn't really have an answer. I still don't.

  • The Report

    The Report

It’s not an easy watch, I found it very well done deep dive into dark aspects of America. It is dense, but I like that.

  • Ready or Not

    Ready or Not

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

So Fucking Fun. Just so much

Also took me by surprise with some turns at the end

BUT I wonder if the movie would have more bite if they just lost their wealth and not their lives as well if they didn't fulfill the ritual. Also almost was excited when it didn't seem like they were actuallygoing to explode. I cannot ultimately decide if I wanted them to explode or not.
Samara Weaving was excellent and damn Andie MacDowell is spectacular.

  • Frozen

Elsa is gay, right? She's a gay hero and the conceal and don't feel is all her hiding who she really is from people is about being the closet, right?

EITHER WAY it's wonderful to see a Disney princess so uninterested in aquiring a love interest.
I'm also here for all the self-awareness about how it's weird and shows a lack of judgement to get instantly engaged.

    Black Mirror: Bandersnatch

I'm unsure how successful I think this is as a film in terms of plot, but in terms of innovation I found it pretty inspiring.

    Four Weddings and a Funeral

I still really enjoy how liberating and unapologetic the movie is about the fact that interest likes to fuck.
