The Holy Mountain

The Holy Mountain ★★★½

The Holy Mountain is even a lot more stranger than Alejandro Jodorowsky's other films, I really love the symbolic visuals and the extraordinary set design, the film has a very similar vibe of Santa Sangre and El Topo and all three movies are very disturbing, disgusting, has some of the most unique images in film history and has some iconic scenes that you never going to experience from any one else, but despite having some similarities I really didn't have any deep feeling for The Holy Mountain like I have for those two films, even the popular fourth wall break at the end didn't give me a very powerful feeling.
