i want to love this movie but its just SOOOOOOO disgusting I cannot appreciate the themes on love. it was just GROSSLY overshadowed by her LITERALLY SLAMMING HER FACE INTO THE CORNER OF A SINK and A CAR BABY AND CAR SEX sorry that im a fucking teenager who cannot do this shit *insert meghan ah*

beginning kinda sux (documentary style problems) but WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good very sad

    its very storytelling esque.

also stfu if you gonna critique this like its a drama film or meant to send a message LET A WOMAN OF COLOUR TELL A DAMN STORY lawd. she just added dramatic element to make you feel tings losers. nerds.

"feeling like everything is inevitable and change is impossible"???? are you dumb?? BREAK OUT OF OUR SHELL? i doubt that heidi actually believes this…

    TW: suicide
literally so awkward. hated the timing of the songs. please stop singing about suicide and actually seek help. like this is not helping anyone with mental illness?? ur just triggering people? stop this "representation love is love" bullshit SHUTUP ok and also stop casting ben platt in highschool roles its honestly disillusioning.

adding to my list of must-watch documentaries. this auto-biographical look at rebeca's life is so intense and emotionally provoking.

i've never felt so emotionally tense ever in my life. the way lines are delivered calmly but yet the content itself is filled lots of drama just adds so many layers of understanding and uncomfortableness that is necessary for this movie to flourish.

i really like everything, nothing really to say bad. i loveeee the cinematography and the choices of editing and what cuts etc. we see her grow up with racism, identity and family becoming core themes that hit a little too close to home.
