  I wanted to like this movie. The plot was purposefully simple and moved very slowly. The action scenes were good but they were spread out too much because the scenes between action were terribly boring.

  What the actual hell did I just watch. I was looking forward to watching a fun movie based on a classic horror franchise but instead what I watched was a rushed, poorly acted, sloppy mess of a film. I genuinely think that 400 monkeys on typewriters would pump out a better script then the finished product of this horrid movie.   I don't understand all the extremely positive reviews personally. The acting is good but I watched it for an hour and nothing FELT like it happened. Of course things were happening on screen, but none of it gave me true feeling or connection to the characters. I guess it's alright, all-around.

  If the man was a coward, loser with a boring tale to tell then this is your movie. All action is in the trailer, the movie might even have less action than the trailer. I recommend pillows and blankets for this lullaby of a film. I’m also apologize for not logging anything in a long time, life haven’t been kind to me these past weeks

  In my screening I saw 4 or 5 people walk out of the film & not come back. About 3 hours in I also gave up on the film, it was simply not worth my time. The film was way too long with the same repetitive plot for the first 2.5 hours. It was far too leisurely and was not engaging enough.
