Fallen Angels 1995
(rewatched it in a theatre as a double feature with chungking express) second time around absolutely amazing. the wrong thing to do when watching this film is not surrendering to its atmosphere. let it sumerge you to the point of falling off your seat and not caring at all. all these characters being so lonely. just like me and you. all these moments passing by like tears in rain. the city is crying. it's craving for more. it's full with melancholy. it's clearly, and sorry for the joke, in the mood for love.
