MENTAL MENTAL MENTAL movie about a love oblong and murder plot in the glamorous world of industrial mutant chicken farming starring Gina Lollobrigida.
So many drugs must've been available on the set that the score was performed by a cat.
Really wanna see a film about Bernard Matthews as murderous pilferer now…

How many films have you seen where a Jew sits behind Hitler at the Nuremberg rally and waves to his girlfriend?

    I bet there aren't many.

I saw this in the perfect setting, at home on a Sunday afternoon post-dinner laze. Exactly how it should be seen.

The gentle comedy and comfort of familiarity is pitch perfect and Muireann Price who’s the casting department on this deserved an Oscar. Not one bum note.

    A plot that goes nowhere.

Characters that are about so far removed from believable they might as well be from space.

A middle aged man’s wank fest.

Solid gold proof that the 80’s was the worst decade for movies. Ever.

I will never be able to hear the laid back and sunny 'Hurdy Gurdy Man' by Donovan without ever having that feeling of dread and impending doom due to the effect of this spellbinding masterpiece.
It's a film about procedure with no real conclusion, no action sequences or blockbusting finale yet it's still one of the most tense and absorbing films I've ever seen and one that always leaves me wanting more.

Ok, there are reviews out there that go out of their way to pan this movie. This is understandable because it does have numerous shortcomings. I would wager though that a high percentage of the same reviewers would give a big thumbs up to either Plan 9 From Outer Space or Troll 2, but
because this is not a darling of the hipsters, instead a little seen Spanish movie from the early seventies, it'll never receive the recognition it deserves.…
