Camden’s review published on Letterboxd:
A classic hero’s journey masquerading as a surreal fever dream drenched in mysticism, metaphor, and symbolism. My first time in theaters since 2015, and The Green Knight was a more than worthy picture to go out of my way to see. Giants, spirits, psychics, and prophets all intertwine in one man’s journey to find meaning and honor in all the wrong places. Lowery’s detailed and fantastic medieval world works as a perfect backdrop to this interesting and difficult character study. The Green Knight is one of A24’s most ambitious works, a cryptic epic that proposes some serious moral questions about our ambitions and the titles we think we must live up to. May I say…a contemporary masterpiece? Only time will tell.
