Ever since I saw Burning for the first time I’ve been obsessed with Lee Chang-dong’s work. 

This is even better the second time. I noticed details I missed the first time around and knowing how it all ends made certain sequences and lines of dialogue feel like I was experiencing them for the first time.

The images are still just as breathtaking and the performances from the three leads are remarkably natural. This is how it’s done. I cannot wait to see what Director Lee has in store next.
