Roger Deacons comes in and absolutely dunks on whatever hack was the DP for Quantum of Shoelace. The editor from Casino Royale returns as well - THANK FUCK.
A movie about old people proving their haters wrong. I love the character parallels between Bond and M. There’s a lot of great action set pieces but it’s the character stories and themes of aging and obsolescence that make this movie have a wider appeal than just it’s machinations.
Jarvier Bardem’s second best mainstream role.
It’s a shame they couldn’t have all the old James Bond enter at the climax to help out. Would’ve been a very special and unique hype moment in franchise history.
