CANNES 2019, RANKED

This accounts for everything I saw at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, from best to least-best. (Letterboxd has rightly refused to acknowledge Nicolas Winding Refn's TOO OLD TO DIE YOUNG — screened in part for press here at the festival — as a movie, so I'll say up here that it would not be on the higher end of things.) Really strong year on the Croisette. I’d recommend everything from 17 on up.
