An imperfect addition to the canon - some weightless subplots, misjudged moments - but one which thrives on implementing change, and for that reason alone it stands taller than The Force Awakens because it finally makes this feel, properly, like a new strain of the franchise we know and love. I have many, many thoughts which I'll refine and post next time I get to see it, but overall it would be disingenuous of me to say anything other than this: I was entertained.
