Travis Lytle’s review published on Letterboxd:
Dark, violent, and completely enjoyable, Leigh Whannell's "Uppgrade" is a science fiction surprise. A revenge tale following a tech-imbued man searching for his wife's murderer, the film finds the man developing a symbiotic relationship with the AI in his body for better or worse. The production is invitingly small scale, and all cinematic elements gel impressively; the work flows with appealing crunch and vigor. The film is a welcome entry to the genre canon.
