Adam Loves Bad Movies’s review published on Letterboxd:
It was me. I am the one who killed Captain Alex.
A triumph of independent filmmaking, up there with Carl J. Suckenick and Teddy Chiu in terms of output relative to resource input. Put simply, these folks making this movie for 200$(!!!!) is a damned miracle. Like if you’ve ever seen Brigsby Bear, that feeling of love for filmmaking and creating art is the kind of attitude that birthed this film. Sure it’s not the best production value or acting, but it’s real filmmaking and it’s made with a genuine passion. I love that. I’d rather watch this and ten more Len Kabasinski flicks than another goddamned Marvel movie ever again.
