I’m on a movie watching hiatus- I have too much going on between work and caring for my sick dog. I did need to check out the only best picture nominee I hadn’t seen before the Oscars tonight, and for me this didn’t do it. I didn’t care for any of the three acts of the movie, but I did enjoy the ending quite a lot. Dolly De Leon ATE and was robbed of not just an Oscar nomination but an Oscar win.

Totally letdown. Stupid, and not in the way I expected it to be stupid. The script had a few truly funny moments but was ultimately super cringe. I can’t believe I ended my movie fast for this.

At the end of the day, 150 minutes of fan service works amazing for the audience it’s servicing, and maybe not so well for the people who are like “who the fuck is that?” It was mostly very entertaining though, and definitely didn’t feel like 2…
