I wanted to watch the original before making my review about this, that way I can get all of the critiques that it was too similar to the original. I definitely agree with that aspect. It takes the original and just throws it into the 80's. So in originality of plot, it kind of fails. However it shines greatly in its murders. They're gross and morbid and it was simply delicious to see on screen. So that alone was enough for me to enjoy this film immensely. Even it kinda got boring after the deaths were over.
