Lah!! How lucky we am to have had this masterpiece mini-series from the genius that is Russell T. Davies. No joke but I owe that man a lot when it comes to my journey to accepting my queerness and this mini-series really highlights how important his work is to thousands of LGBTQ+ people.
This show was joyful, it was heartbreaking, it was funny, it was beautiful and most of all it was real, respectful and just really fucking good.
I’m in awe of what he’s achieved with this show and the difference it’ll make to many. I can only hope that one day I have a fraction of the influence he had to make queer media. I bow down to RTD.

P.S. I need to shout out the masterful Lydia West and Olly Alexander for those stellar performances, I hope to see them pop up in many more projects (picturing them as Doctor Who companions - chef’s kiss). And the set design and costumes, wow. Just a perfect series of TV
