  This actually blew my mind. After I put aside my knee jerk acid reflux to the obligatory scene in EVERY French movie where someone reads philosophy about love out of a book, this thing really got under my skin. Is it Neo-realism? What is it? It's like a John Cassavetes movie but (for me)more watchable.

  Fuck I love this movie. Haven’t seen it for 20 odd years and I’d forgotten how much it must have informed what I find funny. A real treasure. People acting like people despite their highfalutin ideas.
