  I was so excited to see this movie, and so very let down. It feels like Marvel doesn’t care anymore. Like, yeah, Ms Marvel and her family are iconic and they carried the movie on their backs. But after all these years I can’t believe they’re still putting this little creativity into their plots, their villains, their dialogue, their ideas….the MCU is in a serious funk and I can’t wait for them to get out of it.   A little disappointing in the overall product, but still a pretty solid Marvel movie. The surprise appearances were all great, Wanda is a top-tier villain, Cumberbatch acted up a storm, and the lore of MCU sorcery is always a welcome subject to dive into.

  But the plot was also quite scarce and not enough explanation was given at times. America Chavez was a great addition to the movie, but we still have so little sense of her personality, the nature…
