I’ll need a rewatch of this (which is happening for my dads birthday) but in a simple review… HOLY SHIT THAT WENT BONKERS VERY QUICKLY.

Marcel the Shell with Shoes On 2021
"Guess why I smile? Uh, because it's worth it."
From the moment the trailer for this started looping in the various movies we saw in theaters, I felt I was going to love this. I cannot believe a small creature like Marcel stole my heart and made this my favorite film of 2022. I know it's early to call it a champion, but for me it is. It's the little things in life that we take for granted everyday that in his small yet HUGE world, Marcel finds the joy and humor in. I loved this. I cried. This is a DAMN GOOD FILM.

Evidently I've never seen this!?! It's fine. A bit of an improvement in terms of the songs and even from the first song they are having much more fun !!!
