Christof’s review published on Letterboxd:
A cultural reset. The film that showed us that horror movies can be funny and clever about themselves, but still be scary at the same time.
That opening scene is an all-timer and one of the best things that Drew Barrymore ever did. And I will admit that I have always been drawn to the Jamie Kennedy character, to the point that, for some time, I tried to emulate his persona (which came fairly to easy to me, though).
I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series over the next weeks, including a first-time watch of the most recent installment.
