Christof’s review published on Letterboxd:
What a precious film. Everything about is perfect: The musical numbers, the friendship between Don Lockwood and Cosmo Brown, the tongue-in-cheek depiction of Hollywood adapting to the talkies, Jean Hagen being insanely funny as Lina Lamont, Gene Kelly's line deliveries ("Dignity. Always dignity" being a particular favorite of mine, with "Well... if it isn't Ethel Barrymore! a close second), that perfect payoff at the end - any one of these element would have been enough to make this an undeniable classic. But it has them all.
There is absoluty no way around the fact that this is one of the absolute all-timers.
