If I could pick one travel destination to visit I think I’d pick Taika Waititi’s mind. I imagine it’s the most magical and charming place.
His stories and characters are always so quirky and endearing, and Hunt For The Wilderpeople is no different. Ricky Baker and Hec are such fun characters and their dynamic together was perfect. The dialogue is so playful and so....Taika lol like that’s the only way I can describe it. I can only imagine him writing what he writes.
Everything he does is so distinctly him and I love it. I’ve loved or really liked every single one of his movies and I can’t wait for his next Thor movie. I’m a little nervous about his sensibilities directing a Star Wars, but I’m also just so intrigued with what his unique mind can bring to such a bizarre universe and mythology like Star Wars.
