How can my heart be broken in two and yet each half still be full of warmth and fuzziness? How can I experience such joy and have so much fun, but still feel downtrodden and contemplative?

As with other of Taika’s work he successfully takes me on an emotional rollercoaster, I love his writing style, I love his directing. I love his acting and the energy each of his characters injects into every movie he’s in. It’s infectious and adds such a playful dynamic. He’s quickly becoming one of my favorite directors and creative minds in general.

Also Roman Griffin Davis was mind-blowingly good. Probably my second favorite performance by a child actor next to Trembley in Room. Wow. Nailed comedy, drama, romance, fear, anger, hate, and love all with equal brilliance. I can’t wait to see where his career goes.
