  Fiercely contemporary. Extremely well acted but some of the rhythms in here felt so fresh for a studio comedy. Its beyond me why this wasn’t a huge hit.

  Also refreshing for a movie like this to deal so directly with gentrification and class.

  One for me. Probably my favorite Haynes. Walks so many tonal lines impeccably. Melton is obviously the standout here but everyone, including the day players, is on the A game. Had a blast.

  18 months ago, I read the book How to Blow Up a Pipeline and today, I got to see the movie fully finished. I was so lucky to collaborate with the world's most incredible, hard-working team, and I'm so proud of what we made. It's everything I hoped it would be and more. Will have more to write after we premiere.

  If not the best Fincher, the most Fincher. Adored nearly every second of this. More political and subversive and rigorous than a lot of people seem to be giving it credit for. Extraordinary.
