A quiet and erotic story of two people, who’ve forgotten what it’s like to truly connect with someone else, bringing something dormant back to life. It shows how something beautiful but ignored can return anew and treasured when treated with the proper care.
One thing I truly appreciate is the tension that comes with not having a lot of score, which Ammonite builds up well. The trick with that though is being able to cut through when it does kick in, and in that aspect I was still left wanting more.
