Time. Love. Memories. Nostalgia. Regrets. Possibilities. Conflicts. Stuck.
The end of an informal trilogy brought about just as much emotions as it can get, yet leaving me empty at the same time. That's just what Wong Kar-wai's films are so good at, at least in my opinion.
Like a hand that reaches into the darkness and depths to pull at your heartstrings, but never pulling you out of the dark, leaving you in a state of limbo, searching for a way out, spinning around looking at sources of light to be signs of exit, yet too blinding for you to approach it.
Excellent music. Excellent cinematography. Excellent feels.
