    Promising Young Woman

I’m stuck on what to rate this. I loved the concept and pretty much every scene leading up to the last 15-20 minutes but then it started to die off for me. I think I expected and wanted more than I got. I’m glad it ended the way it did but I wanted more. I wanted more justice. I was honestly hoping she’d become a murderous vigilante and just erase everyone who wronged Nina but I didn’t necessarily get that and I’m not sure how to feel about it.

    The Bell Jar

    A couple tips:

If you’ve never seen The Bell Jar or read it: JUST READ THE GODDAMN BOOK!

If you’ve read it and want to see it in color like I do: Keep reading the book and wait a little longer, please.

If you’ve read and watched it: I am so sorry you…

“You are so much smaller than I remember.”

Holy shit. Not fully understanding what this movie was about, I had been avoiding it since it came out. I finally hunkered down to watch it and I wish I had sooner. I See You

I’m so used to watching bad movies that I’m shocked that this was the second movie I’ve seen in a row that I absolutely loved. It had a little twist about half way through the movie that I didn’t see coming. I started this movie having no idea what it was about and I’m glad I did it that way. It kept me intrigued the whole way through and I just loved every minute of it.
