Mary Conti’s review published on Letterboxd:
Everyone is lonely.
What works with Terrence Malick's Days of Heaven is how he uses imagery to make a connection to the inner depths of the story. It adds a sad beauty to the world. Love is a beautiful thing, but no matter how much you surround yourself with people, you're ultimately alone in this world, and you have only yourself to look out for.
And yes, the cinematography is amazing.
