[10/10]This movie does not shy away from the horrors of WWI. I know a lot of people hate war films because they "Glorify' war but this movie is anti-war for sure. This movie sits right next to Saving Private Ryan when it comes to showing what real war is like. Glad to see more WWI films being made and especially ones from the german perspective.
The music, cinematography, and acting were incredible. You could tell Edward Berger put a lot of love and passion into this film. It's nothing major but the film does take its time to get going. The second half of this film is peak storytelling and cinema.
