  Wow I was immensely disappointed by this. It honestly pains me to say that considering how much I usually like Paul Schrader and his work, but I have to be brutally honest with how I feel about this film. I think there were some slivers of potential throughout, but ultimately I felt like this was such a waste and really didn’t care much for it.

  It’s pretty mind boggling to think this was Agnes Varda’s film debut. The sheer amount of beauty and profound detail is really inspiring. I really enjoyed how simple yet engaging the film was, from the beginning I was completely locked in and focused, wanting to soak up every single detail throughout this film.
